Pamboiotios

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pamboioitios ( ancient Greek Παμβοιώτιος ) is a month of the Boeotian calendar .

It was the tenth month after Panama and before Damatrios ; in the Julian calendar it roughly corresponds to the month of October . The name of the month, known only in the Boeotian calendar, is derived from the federal festival Pamboiotia , which was celebrated this month in honor of Athena Itonia in her sanctuary near Koroneia .
