Pamela Moore (writer)
Pamela Moore (born September 22, 1937 in New York City ; died June 7, 1964 ) was an American author.
Life
Pamela Moore was the daughter of journalist and author Don Moore and author Isabel Walsh. Pamela Moore attended Rosemary Hall School in Greenwich, Connecticut and Barnard College in Manhattan . At the age of eighteen she published her first novel Chocolates for Breakfast , which immediately turned out to be a bestseller and over time had a circulation of one million copies in eleven languages. Her other four novels did not receive this recognition.
Moore was married to attorney Adam Kanarek since 1958; they had a son born in 1963. Moore committed 1964 suicide .
