Pan American Games 1979 / Football

For the eighth time, a football tournament was held in 1979 at Pan-American Games . It took place in San Juan , Puerto Rico between July 2nd and 14th. Nine nations took part. After two preliminary rounds, the best qualified for a knockout round.

All games took place at the Estadio Country Club .
