Pandion (armor of Teucros)
Pandion ( ancient Greek Πανδίων ) is in Greek mythology the armor of Teucros in the Trojan War .
He appears in Homer's Iliad when the Trojans, with the help of the allied Lycians, try to take the Greek siege. Pandion carries his bow after Teukros when Menestheus and Aias call him to help defend a siege tower.
The corresponding Iliad verse has been interpreted in classical philology as an Attic interpolation of the original text .
