Renovated high-rise buildings in Paneriai

Paneriai is a district of the Lithuanian city ​​of Jonava ( Kaunas district ). The populated residential area is on the right bank of the Neris , on Panerių Street, between the old town of Jonava and the city center. The responsible constituency No. 9 ( Ateities rinkimų apylinkė No. 9 ) has 1,831 voters (2012). Postcodes are 55185, 55186, 55187 and 55188.

Neris embankment

The embankment of the Neris River is located in the microrajon. There is a beach here, steep slope with the steps that lead to the bank of the Neris River. Paneriai has several recreational areas, which are equipped with flower beds, pansies. There are built benches, footpaths and bike paths, and protective rings for bicycles have been installed.

There is a memorial for Lithuanian independence fighters and those who resisted the Soviet occupation, murdered by the NKVD , MWD and MGB .
