Panevėžio balsas
Panevėžio balsas (Eng. 'Voice of Panevėžys') is a daily newspaper in Panevėžys . The editor is UAB Panevėžio dienraštis. Since 2011, the newspaper has had the FK “Panevėžio Balsas” football club.
history
In 1924 the weekly newspaper Panevėžio balsas was founded. From 1935 to 1940 there was Panevėžio garsas , from 1941 to 1944 Panevėžio apygardos balsas , from 1941 to 1990 Panevėžio tiesa ( Prawda of Panevėžys). From 1962 to 1990 she was an organ of the Panevėžys Council of the Lietuvos komunistų partija . From 1990 to 1993 the newspaper was published by Panevėžys City Council. Since 1994 it has been managed by UAB “Panevėžio balsas”. From 2003 the owner was General Director of AB “Ekranas” Eimutis Žvybas . From 2007 it belonged to the American company "ALRO media". In 2009 Darius Gudelis became the owner of the newspaper.
In 1991 the newspaper had 33,500 copies. It is printed by “Poligrafijas Grupa Fenster, Ltd” in Latvia .
