Paolo Bossoni
Paolo Bossoni (born July 2, 1976 in San Secondo Parmense , Province of Parma , Italy ) is a former Italian cyclist .
Career
Bossoni became a professional in 1999 with the Italian cycling team Cantina Tollo .
His first major success came in the sixth stage of the Vuelta a España 2000 , which he won in the sprint of a 30-strong group ahead of Giovanni Lombardi and world champion Óscar Freire . At the 17th stage of the Tour de France 2003 he won the sprint of a breakaway group behind the Dutchman Servais Knaven , who pulled away from a 10-man top group with eight other drivers 18 km from the finish.
On July 29, 2008 Bossoni was tested positive for EPO during a doping control Italian championships, in which he finished sixth .
