Paolo Tumminelli

Paolo Tumminelli (born 1967 in Italy) is professor for design concepts in Cologne and managing director of the consulting firm for strategic brands and design goodbrands.

He studied architecture and design direction in Milan . After completing his studies, he worked as a designer at Alfa Romeo's Centro Stile . He then became director of design at Momo Design. He has been a design critic since 1992 and also writes for the Handelsblatt , among others .

In 1996 he came to Germany and became Head of Strategic Marketing at Rosenthal , after which he was Vice President of Brand & Strategy for Europe at frog design until 2002. In 2002 he founded Goodbrands. In 2003, after teaching assignments at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London and the Arnhem University of Art, he was appointed professor for design concepts at the Cologne International School of Design. In 2015 he taught at the Braunschweig University of Fine Arts .
