Papai
Papai ( Numidian PPY), son of Babai, was a Numidian iron craftsman. He was in the 2nd century BC. Active in Thugga .
Papai is mentioned along with several other artists and craftsmen on a Numidian - Punic bilingual , which was found on a pillar tomb in Thugga . Aṭban , probably an architect, the stonecutters ʿAbdarisch , Zimer and Managai , their assistants Zazai , Tamôn and Warsakan , the carpenters Ankan and Masidil and the ironworker Schafot are also listed on the bilingual .
