Singerberg

Singerberg was a short-lived parish that existed from 1994 to 1996. The community initially belonged to the Arnstadt district in Thuringia and had fewer than 1500 inhabitants. The name of the community is derived from Singer Berg .

founding

On April 6, 1994 the community Singerberg was newly formed. It included the previous communities Dörnfeld an der Ilm (with the district Cottendorf ), Geilsdorf , Gösselborn , Griesheim , Hammersfeld , Singen and Traßdorf . The seat of the municipal administration was in Singen.

District affiliation

The new community initially belonged to the Arnstadt district. About three months after the congregation was formed, it was dissolved on July 1, 1994 in the Ilm district .

Parish dissolution

As early as June 1, 1996, the young community was dissolved again. Together with the municipalities of Dienstedt-Hettstedt (with Dienstedt , Großhettstedt and Kleinhettstedt ), Ehrenstein , Großliehaben (with Kleinliehaben ), Nahlösungen (with Döllstedt ) and Niederwillingen (with Behringen and Oberwillingen ) it was incorporated into the new Ilmtal municipality. The seat of the Ilmtal municipal administration was in Griesheim.
