Papyrus 7 (after the Gregory-Aland numbering , also referred to as 7 ) is an early copy of the New Testament in Greek . It is a papyrus manuscript of the Gospel of Luke , chapter 4, verses 1 and 2. It is very likely a patristic fragment.

Due to the condition of the fragment, it is not easy to date it using paleography . It is classified in the 4th to 6th centuries (possibly also 3rd century).

The Greek text of this code is too short to classify. It probably represents the Alexandrian text type . Aland did not place him in any of the New Testament manuscript categories .

It is currently housed in the Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine (Petrov 553) in Kiev .
