Papyrus Chester Beatty VIII

The Papyrus Chester Beatty VIII (No. 966 after Rahlfs ) are two small fragments of a papyrus manuscript from the late 2nd or early 3rd century. They contain parts of the book of Isaiah , namely chapters 4.30-5.1, chapters 9-14 and chapters 23-24 in Greek ( Septuagint ). The text is written in one column in uncials . The fragments were acquired by the American collector Alfred Chester Beatty in Egypt before the end of 1931 and are now in the Chester Beatty Library in Dublin with the signature P. Ch.Beatty VIII.
