Paradise Fears is an American alternative rock pop band from Vermillion , South Dakota . Her album Yours Truly (first full length) was released on June 14, 2011. They then played on several major rock-pop tours.

History and members

The band Paradise Fears was formed by several Vermillion high school students. It consists of six members. Samuel Steven Tyler Miller, Jordan Michael Merrigan, Cole Douglas Andre, Lucas Paul Zimmermann, Michael Jeremiah Walker and Marcus Alexander Sand. After graduating from high school, the group began to give concerts and released their music on several EPs , for example in 2008 The Secret to Dropping Out or 2010 Make Them Believe . In 2011 they released their first full-length album, Yours Truly, and toured with several other bands such as All Time Low , The Summer Set and Forever the Sickest Kids . On June 25, 2013, their single Battle Scars came out. The EP of the same name debuted at number 2 on the iTunes Alternative Charts. The band reached number 9 on the "Uncharted Charts" on Billboard.

In 2014 Lucas Zimmerman left the band. Joey Russ joined him as the new drummer.
