Paride Grillo (born March 23, 1982 in Varese ) is a former Italian cyclist .

Life

Paride Grillo has been under contract with the Professional Continental Team Ceramiche Panaria-Navigare since 2005 . The sprinter attracted attention in his very first race, the Tour de Langkawi , and came second a few times behind his teammate Graeme Brown . Even at the Giro d'Italia , after many good placements, he once finished second behind Alessandro Petacchi . At Circuit de Lorraine he claimed his first stage victory and also in Denmark Tour , he was successful. In the UCI Europe Tour he finished ninth, in the Oceania Tour even fifth. In the fall he broke his wrist on the Lombardy tour . Grillo also made a good start to the 2006 season. In the Tour of Qatar he came second and fourth. At Tirreno-Adriatico , too , he made it to a third stage position. Finally, he won the one-day race Grand Prix de Rennes in France and shortly afterwards a stage each of the Circuit Cycliste Sarthe and the Brixia Tour . At the end of the 2008 season he ended his career. In 2010 he returned for a season without major success.
