Parliamentary elections in Mongolia 2012
The 2012 Mongolian parliamentary elections , in which the deputies of the Great State Chural of Mongolia were determined, took place on June 28, 2012. The turnout was around 65 percent.
Result
The Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party (MPVP), which had decisively determined the politics of the country for decades, entered under its new name Mongolian People's Party (MVP) and lost 20 of 46 seats compared to the 2008 election. 2010 was a new Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party (MPRP ), which formed an electoral alliance with the Mongolian National Democratic Party (MNDP), later called the Coalition of Justice . The election brought a victory for the Democratic Party (DP).
