Parry is an impact crater on the front of the moon in Mare Cognitum , southeast of the Fra Mauro whale plain . Its western edge partially covers the wall of the Bonpland crater . The crater is heavily eroded, the interior largely flat.

In the north, east and south (partly through the interior of Fra Mauro and Bonpland) the lunar grooves of the Rimae Parry run .

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the British explorer William Edward Parry .
