Partido Republicano Nacionalista

The Partido Republicano Nacionalista (PRN) was a right-wing conservative Portuguese political party during the First Republic . It emerged from the Liberal Republican Union (ULP) and the Republican Party of National Reconstruction (PRRN) and the remnants of the former National Republican Party of Sidónio Pais .

The best-known member of the PRN was Álvaro de Castro , a former member of the PRRN, who ruled Portugal for the second time between December 18, 1923 and July 6, 1924 as Prime Minister with the help of the newly founded party. Another well-known member was Tomé José de Barros Queirós .
