The Partille Arena is a multifunctional arena in the Swedish city ​​of Partille . The hall has been the home of the IK Sävehof handball club since it opened .

history

After the decision of the city council in November 2012 to build a new arena in the city, construction work on the arena began on December 5, 2013. In summer 2016, it was completed. The opening took place on September 16, 2016. Since then, the arena has been home to the IK Sävehof handball club. The old home of the club, the Partillebohallen , was demolished in April 2017. The new arena also replaces the Partillebohallen as a venue for concerts.

Usage and events

The arena comprises a total of two halls, a bowling alley, a fitness studio and a large restaurant. The arena is also used as a sports hall for the schools in Partille .

The second Eurovision Choir took place there in 2019 .
