Party All the Time is a song by Eddie Murphy in the year 1985 , that he and Rick James was written, it appeared on the album How Could It Be .

history

The song is an agonizing story from the point of view of the protagonist, who is sung about by Eddie Murphy. He begins by asking, perhaps rhetorically, why his beloved, with whom he is in love, hurts his feelings. The protagonist also lists all of the expensive items he bought for her, as well as champagne, roses and diamond rings. Despite the gifts that the protagonist bought his lover and gave her, she is not with him during the night (she probably hangs out with other men). Then the protagonist asks himself, perhaps also rhetorically speaking, how he can resolve this depressing situation. Later it turns out that the mistress likes to spend her time in nightclubs and parties. She was seen giving her phone number to every man, revealing her infidelity.

The recordings of the synth-pop / radio song took place in Rick James' home studio in Buffalo , New York and he can also be heard in the background. It was published on May 23, 1985.
