The 4th presentation of the Amadeus Austrian Music Award took place in 2003 in Vienna .
Nomination and election
Musicians and bands or their publications that came onto the market between January 1st and December 31st, 2002 or had at least one live performance could be nominated. The prerequisite was that the artists had their center of life in Austria or were Austrian citizens.
