Amadeus Awards 2019
The 19th presentation of the Amadeus Austrian Music Award took place on April 25, 2019 in the Volkstheater in Vienna and was staggered on ORF . The nominations for the FM4 Award were announced on February 8, 2019, the nominations in the other categories on February 19, 2019.
Nomination and election
Andreas Gabalier , Cari Cari , Die Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung (EAV), Mavi Phoenix and RAF Camora each received three nominations. AVEC , picture book , Josh. , Kreiml & Samurai , Seiler and Speer , Simon Lewis and Soap & Skin were each nominated twice.
The event was moderated for the second time by Conchita , who was on stage with his new fictional character WURST and the new song Hit Me .
Anja Plaschg canceled her participation in the Amadeus Gala after she and Andreas Gabalier were nominated in the same category (album of the year).
