Amadeus Awards 2005
The 6th presentation of the Amadeus Austrian Music Award took place on May 5, 2005 in the ORF-Zentrum Küniglberg in Vienna . It was moderated by Ö3 moderator Andi Knoll . The show was broadcast live on the internet and with a time delay from 10 p.m. on ORF . The musical supporting program was designed by Melanie C , Lisa Stansfield , Silbermond , Juli , Christina Stürmer , Saint privat , Shiver and Gustav . Laudators were Wolfgang Ambros , Das Balaton Combo, Nik Berger , Roland Düringer , Peter L. Eppinger & Daniela Zeller , Palfrader / Niedetzky / Scheurer , Projekt X , Rainer Schönfelder , Markus Spiegel and Zabine .
Nomination and election
Musicians and bands or their publications that came onto the market between January 1st and December 31st, 2004 or had at least one live performance could be nominated. The prerequisite was that the artists had their center of life in Austria or were Austrian citizens.
