Antonia from Tyrol (born March 10, 1980 in Linz , Austria ; real name: Sandra Stumptner ) is an Austrian musician and entertainer .

Career

Antonia from Tyrol (2010)

At the age of 14 she was on stage for the first time with her father. She became famous but only when she along with DJ Ötzi the number-one hit Anton aus Tirol coverte . Following this success she started as Antonia feat. Sandra S. started her solo career and landed with her first two singles ... I'm much more beautiful and bright red rubber boat two chart successes. More than 200 live performances a. a. in Germany , Austria, Switzerland , the Netherlands , Belgium , Luxembourg , Dubai , Italy , Russia and Mallorca Antonia completes every year.

She had further success with a duet with Heino . In addition to German-language party and mood songs, hits and romantic ballads can be found on their records . She has also worked on the lyrics for newer productions.

From September 4th to 11th, 2005, she lived for a week in the Big Brother village.

She was nominated five times for an Amadeus Austrian Music Award .

After a collapse on March 22, 2007 in the entrance hall of a Düsseldorf luxury hotel, she was first treated in the intensive care unit and then had what turned out to be the gastrointestinal virus disease treated in a clinic in Baden-Württemberg. The doctors had also diagnosed the singer with burnout syndrome . She had lost a lot of weight from the illness.

On June 5, 2009 the single 1000 Träume weit (Tornerò) was released , which was placed in the German charts for two weeks at number 89. It was an adaptation of a hit by the Italian band I Santo California from 1975 and a hit by the British band The Police from 1983.

In September 2009 the double CD Zeitträume was released . Also in 2009 she let herself be rented, bought and filmed in the pseudo-docu-soap while looking for an apartment on VOX. In 2010 she took part in the documentary soap Tattoo Attack - Stars sting zu on RTL 2, in which she had herself tattooed.

In a traffic accident on August 30, 2010 near Bad Homburg vor der Höhe , she and her co-driver Peter Schutti suffered serious injuries when the VW Phaeton she was driving got off the road on a wet lane and hit a tree. On September 17, 2010 she appeared again for the first time.

Charity

In addition to the music, Antonia regularly supports the DRK and WCC in various campaigns as an active Red Cross member . With her appearances and a specific financing plan, she would also like to support the construction of an orphanage combined with an old people's home. She also founded the "Wunschengel" association with her partner Peter Schutti. This association aims to support children and adults suffering from cancer who are in need due to their illness . Her partner, Peter Schutti, fought against his lymph node cancer himself .
