Amadeus Awards 2008
The 9th presentation of the Amadeus Austrian Music Award took place on April 18, 2008 in the Gasometer in Vienna . The award was broadcast by PULS4, ProSieben Austria and mobil via 3. The award was moderated by Michael Ostrowski . The musical framework program was provided by Die Happy with Peaches , Ich + Ich with So should it remain , Amy MacDonald with Mr Rock & Roll , Hubert von Goisern with Showtime , Christina Stürmer with Dreams Live Forever , Herbert Grönemeyer with Song 1 - Piece of Heaven , Clara Luzia with Morning Light , Mario Lang and Baschi with Bring him home , Valerie with Regen and Supermax with Love Machine .

Musicians and bands or their publications that came onto the market between January 1st and December 31st, 2007 or had at least one live performance could be nominated. The prerequisite was that the artists had their center of life in Austria or were Austrian citizens.
