Diknu Schneeberger (born January 17, 1990 in Vienna ) is an Austrian jazz guitarist in the tradition of gypsy jazz . In 2006 he received the Hans Koller Prize as Talent of the Year.

Live and act

'Diknu' is the son of jazz bassist Joschi Schneeberger . He made his first public appearance in June 2004; in October 2004 he already recorded his first CD with the Joschi Schneeberger Quintet . First he was taught by Striglo Stöger, later Martin Spitzer , now also guitarist in the Diknu Schneeberger Trio ; Bass player is his father Joschi Schneeberger.

Diknu also studied jazz guitar at the Vienna Conservatory .
