Manuel Normal , actually David Haider (born September 15, 1979 in Linz ) is an Austrian musician and producer . Its genre includes the alternative. In 2007 he released his debut album Frontal . In the same year he came second in the protest song contest with the title Safe ned du . Manuel Normal is regularly on tour with his band ( Stefan Lindenbauer - guitar, Ingolf Eder - bass and Nik Gattringer - drums) as well as solo unplugged.

In 2008 and 2010 he was nominated for the FM4 Award, which is presented as part of the Amadeus Austrian Music Award . In 2008 he received an Austrian Newcomer Award.

So far he has released four of his own albums as a co-production of his label MNRecords with the publisher Hoanzl . In 2011 he also founded the label Kofferradio and since then has published the works of the artists Blonder Engel , Blonder Engel & die Hedwig Haselrieder Kombo , Beda mit Palme , Fotzhobl , DaLenz , Kyrre Kvam , Clavigo , Bananz , Zeta Primes , Herz in coproduction with the Hoanzl publishing house , Clara Walla , Drugocek , Cler & Klainer , Dschuls & Mey , Mojo Incorporation . He also produces some of these artists himself - in his Audiogarten recording studio, which opened in 2014 .
