Chris And the Other Girls is an Austrian band from Vienna . It was founded in 2002 by Christian Pitschl as a "one-man project" when he was looking for a new band. The name was suggested by a friend, because Pitschl calls his friends girls . After the first album Let Go in 2005, the band's second and to this day last album was released two years later. In 2008 the band was nominated for the FM4 Award, which is presented as part of the Amadeus Austrian Music Award . The band has not appeared since 2012.
