PBH Club is a seven-piece Austrian ski band from Vienna .
history
The band was founded in 2001 in Vienna. The band has existed in its current form since the end of 2004 and has performed numerous concerts as a live band.
The musicians became known to a wider audience through the song Mehr Meer , with which they won the third edition of the Ö3 Soundcheck , a band competition organized by the Austrian radio station Ö3 , in April 2007 .
The second single, A Message to You Rudy , a cover of the classic by Dandy Livingstone , was released in late August 2007 and can also be found on the album 45 Minutes of Urlaub , which was released on September 28, 2007.
The texts are partly German and partly English.
In June 2012 the newest long player with the title TANZBAR! published, on which only numbers with German texts can be heard. The title Hallo is presented as a new single by Ö3.
controversy
On February 15, 2012, the band was named by the news magazine News in the context of reports on ÖVP entanglements in the telecommunications affair . The band, to which Franz Morak's son belongs, was to be provided with a tour bus from the Telekom fleet. The band rejects the allegations; they bought a used tour bus with their own money.
