Velojet was an Austrian band from Steyr and Vienna . Her style was mainly influenced by music from the 1960s, such as that of the Beatles and the Beach Boys , but also by jazz music. In 2006 the band was nominated for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award .
In 2005 the debut album Velojet was released. The two singles Your Side and Something to believe in were played on the alternative youth radio station FM4 and the music TV station gotv .
The band split up in 2015. René Mühlberger is now devoting himself to his follow-up solo project Pressyes . The other former band members have largely withdrawn into private life.
