Peter Leo Eppinger (born January 31, 1975 in Vienna ) is a former Austrian radio and television presenter .

He is currently active as a spokesman for the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) or “The New People's Party” and its party leader Sebastian Kurz .

life and career

From 1995 he moderated for the ORF radio station Ö3 . He became known with the weekly radio show "Ö3-Sternstunden" with the astrologer Gerda Rogers . From 2004 to June 2008 he was one of the moderators on Austria's most popular radio show, the daily morning magazine "Ö3-Wecker". Peter L. Eppinger hosted the Life Ball on television . On May 31, 2014, he and Sandra König commented on the Life Ball.

Until about June 2017, Eppinger moderated the “Sternstunden” on Ö3 with star astrologist Gerda Rogers and the “Ö3 Drivetimeshow” with Olivia Peter .

In 1993 Peter L. Eppinger passed the Matura at the Hernalser Gymnasium Geblergasse in the 17th district of Vienna . In 1994 he then did ten months of community service at the care center of the Alszeile retirement home in Vienna. After an internship in the teaching staff of the radio station Ö3 in 1995, he continued to work in a permanent contractual relationship with the station until he left the ORF in June 2017. He lives in wien.

For the Austrian version of the film " Himmel und Huhn " Eppinger dubbed the alien "Melvin".

In the 3rd season of the Austrian Dancing Stars , which began on March 9, 2007, he was seen as a dancer and reached second place with his partner Julia Polai behind Klaus Eberhartinger and Kelly Kainz .

On September 14, 2009, Peter L. Eppinger succeeded Markus Pohanka as a presenter on the ORF local television program Wien heute , which he presented for the last time on November 20, 2011.

On June 26, 2017, he left Ö3 to work as a spokesman for the ÖVP .
