Olivia Peter (born September 23, 1985 in Rum , Tyrol ) is an Austrian radio presenter.

Life

Olivia Peter attended the Episcopal Gymnasium Paulinum in Schwaz from 1995 to 2003 , from which she graduated with the Matura . She then began at the University of Vienna with a degree in German / French and a degree in theater, film and media studies , which she received in 2010 with the academic title Mag. Phil. has finished.

Her entry into the media industry was in 2006 through an internship in the ORF -Tirol culture department, and in 2007 at Life Radio Tirol. In summer 2008 she worked as a TV reporter for Phoenix / ZDF during the European Football Championship in Vienna . In January 2008 she started working as an editor at Hitradio Ö3 , where she also presented the Ö3-Wunschnacht (then still: Ö3-Nachtflug ) from October 2009 and from July 2010 the Ö3 weekend playlist.

From the end of March 2014, she hosted the Ö3 Drivetime show - originally together with Peter L. Eppinger , who left the station in June 2017 . From October 2017 Peter presented this program together with Philipp Hansa (Hansa and Peter from four to later). From June 2018 Hansa was regularly represented by Tom Filzer (Filzer and Peter from four to later). The program was broadcast from Monday to Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. On Thursday, September 12, 2019, the broadcast could be heard for the last time on Ö3, Welcome to Hillerei and 24 hours - the Ö3 quiz follow the show.

She has been a presenter on Radio Vienna since October 4, 2019. Peter also acts as a moderator for various events. She also publishes columns for Wienerin magazine on a regular basis .
