The name of the band is derived from the Viennese dialect term on lepschi go (hang around, have fun; Czech: lepší = better).

The band sings Viennese songs and shaking rhymes in dialect. In the black humor song lyrics, which are bursting with biting humor, unusual or outdated words are often used with a lot of wit.

In autumn 2016 Michael Kunz became a member of the band instead of Tomas Slupetzky.
