Lemo (2015)

Lemo (born September 22, 1985 in Oberpullendorf ; actually Clemens Kinigadner ) is an Austrian musician .

Clemens Kinigadner, who grew up in Graz , discovered his enthusiasm for music at the age of 14 . After school he mainly played in band projects. He worked in various jobs and after completing his studies at the SAE Institute in Vienna, he became a sound engineer at ORF . He had his breakthrough as a musician in 2014 under the stage name Lemo with the self-written song Maybe the Summer , with which he made it to number 24 in the Austrian charts in August . At the 2015 Amadeus Awards , the song was also nominated for an award in the Songwriter of the Year category.

In spring 2015 he achieved another chart hit with the title So Easy (again nomination in the category Songwriter of the Year at the Amadeus Awards 2016); followed by Der Himmel über Wien in spring 2016.

At the 2017 Amadeus Awards , he was named Songwriter of the Year for Himmel über Wien , and in 2019 together with Thomas Spitzer for Gegen den Wind .

In September 2018 the single Gegen den Wind was released together with the EAV from their album Alles ist permitted .
