Tschumaky ( Ukrainian Чумаки ; Russian Tschumaki ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Dnepropetrovsk with about 1200 inhabitants (2004).
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1741, is the administrative center of the district council of the same name in the north of Tomakivka district , which also includes the villages of Tscherwonyj Jar ( Червоний Яр ⊙ ) with about 140 inhabitants and Kirowe ( Кірове ⊙ ) with about 600 inhabitants.
Chumaky is located on the banks of the Kamyshevata Sura ( Камишевата Сура ), a 55 km long tributary of the Mokra Sura , and on the territorial road T-04-20 , 20 km northwest of the district center Tomakivka and about 80 km southwest of the oblast capital Dnipro .
