Parviz Pourhosseini
Parviz Pourhosseini ( Persian پرویز پورحسینی; * September 11, 1941 in Tehran ; † November 27, 2020 ibid) was an Iranian actor .
life and work
Pourhosseini completed a bachelor's degree at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Tehran University . He joined the Pasargard theater group and appeared regularly in Iranian theater productions from the early 1960s. He made his debut in Iranian film in 1958 and has appeared in more than 35 feature films, 70 television productions and 60 theater plays during his career. In the German-speaking countries he became known for the two feature films Bashu - The Little Stranger and The Fifth Season .
Pourhosseini died during the COVID-19 pandemic in Iran on November 27, 2020 as a result of a SARS-CoV-2 infection.
