Career

Pascal Caminada began his career in the youth department of the EHC Kloten , for whose juniors he played in the 2003/04 season in the Elite Jr.A. He then moved to Friborg-Gottéron , where he was under contract until 2006 and played as a substitute goalkeeper for both the junior and the professional team in National League A , where he made his professional hockey debut in the 2005/06 season. In the summer of 2006, the goalkeeper was committed by EHC Biel from the National League B , with which he was second division champion in the following two years and with whom he rose to the NLA in the 2007/08 season. In this he was in the 2008/09 season in a total of 33 games on the ice.

In August 2010 he received a trial contract with the Dresdner Eislöwen from the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga . Ultimately, Pasi Häkkinen , who had also been signed on on probation, received the post of goalkeeper and Caminada received no contract extension. The 2010/11 season continued Caminada at Friborg-Gottéron and came to eight appearances in the National League A. In January 2011 he was obliged by the Lausanne Hockey Club with the aim of advancing to the NLA. However, this goal could not be achieved. In September 2012, he dissolved his contract in Lausanne and signed a three-year contract with league rivals HC Thurgau .

After another engagement in Lausanne, Caminada was signed by SC Bern for the 2017/18 season and given a two-year contract. In the 2020/21 season he moved to SC Langenthal .
