Pascal Langdale

Pascal Langdale (* 5. September 1973 in Brighton , United Kingdom as Pascal Langlois ) is a British actor and voice actor . He is known for the role of Ethan Mars in the video game Heavy Rain , which he dubbed and motion- captured .

Career

Langdale studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for three years . He has played a number of supporting roles in a number of television productions since 1999, while also running a company that supported motion capture technology for video games. He wrote the script and starred in Faster Than Night , a live animated and interactive drama selected as part of the 2014 HITCH Harbourfront Festival in Toronto.

Langdale became famous in 2010 for his portrayal of the architect Ethan Mars in the video game Heavy Rain by video game developer David Cage , who runs Quantic Dream . For the role he wore a motion capture suit and also synchronized it in the English version.

From 2011 to 2014, Langdale appeared in television commercials for The National Lottery and played the role of a millionaire named Hector Riva . The commercial showed him preparing for a trip into space, a stay on his private island, diving in front of his private yacht and flying in his private jet. He has also appeared in advertising for Saint Agur blue cheese .

Langdale has two children and lives alternately in Toronto and Ontario .
