The client was the Jewish-Iranian businessman Habib Elghanian . It was named after the client's plastic manufacturer Plasko and housed residential and business premises. At street level there was a shopping center in the front of a building built in 1939.

Fire and collapse

On January 19, 2017, a fire broke out in the building, in which all visitors, residents and business people could be saved. During the extinguishing work, the building collapsed after about four hours and buried the rescue workers who had arrived, killing 30 firefighters.
