Pasulj (bean soup)

The Serbian bean soup , commonly known as Grah (Грах) or Pasulj ( Serbian - Cyrillic Пасуљ ) in the Serbo-Croatian- speaking area , is a traditional dish made from kidney beans , bell peppers , onions , root vegetables , garlic and meat , usually smoked meat , bacon or sausage , and refined with regional spices . The specialty is also widespread in other countries in Southeast Europe, but also outside the region, including Germany .
