Patino "Pato" Guzman (born September 10, 1933 in Santiago de Chile , Chile , † January 2, 1991 ibid) was a Chilean film architect and producer in Hollywood.

Live and act

Guzman studied architecture in his hometown of Santiago and immediately went to the United States, where he was hired as Patino Guzman by CBS as production designer for the television series " The Jack Benny Program ". Another professional position was the design department of MGM , then he worked for the TV production company Desilu . Here Guzman provided the equipment for such successful series as Chikago 1930 and Oops Lucy and in 1964, before filming began, designed the visual appearance of the original spaceship Enterprise in the television series of the same name . In the fall of 1964, Guzman returned to his Chilean homeland for a year. After his return, he briefly designed again for US television, but from 1967 was de facto only active in Hollywood cinema productions. Paul Mazursky's productions supplied most of his designs . Pato Guzman was also a regular co-producer of these films. Guzman died shortly after returning to his old homeland.
