Patricia Ryan (author)

Patricia Burford Ryan , also PB Ryan , pseudonym Louisa Burton (born August 9, 1954 in Las Cruces , New Mexico ) is an American writer.

Life

Ryan is the twin sister of writer Pamela Burford . After school and university she worked for a number of publishing houses in New York and Rochester for some time . Later, like her sister, she began to write too. In addition to her own name, she used u. a. also the pseudonym Louisa Burton , which she chose in honor of Richard Francis Burton ; the translator of the Kamasutram .

Ryan currently (2010) is a writer based in Rochester with her family.

• 1994 Golden Heart Award in the Short Contemporary Series category .
• 2000 RITA for her novel Doom of the Heart .
