Cora publishing house
The Cora Verlag in the legal form of a GmbH & Co. KG is one of the largest publishers of romance novels u. Ä. (mainly in pocket booklet format ). Founded in 1976, it is now a subsidiary of the Canadian publisher Torstar Corporation belonging Harlequin Enterprises . Axel Springer AG held a 50% stake until April 2010 .
Cora novels are available in newsagents. In July 2002 the publisher launched its New York Times Bestseller program in the book market under the label 'Mira Taschenbuch' .
