Patricia Wells (cook)
Patricia Wells (born November 5, 1946 in Milwaukee , Wisconsin ) is an American cook , journalist and cookbook author .
Life
Wells has lived in Provence since 1980 . She works as a restaurant critic for the International Herald Tribune and is the author of eight books. Her book Patricia Wells at Home in Provence won the James Beard Prize for best international cookbook. Wells is the only American and the only woman currently working as a restaurant critic for L'Express .
