Patrick Bertron (born January 22, 1962 in Rennes ) is a French chef . After the death of his boss Bernard Loiseau, Bertron took over the three-star restaurant Côte d'Or in Saulieu in Burgundy .

After training at the hotel management school in Saint-Nazaire , he worked in the restaurant des Palace in Rennes. In 1982 he started at Bernard Loiseau, who had just bought the Côte d'Or restaurant in Saulieu. In 1991 the house was awarded three Michelin stars. In 2003, Bernard Loiseau died by suicide . In 2003 Bertron took over the kitchen management and the restaurant was renamed Le Relais Bernard Loiseau . He was able to defend the three-star award from 2004 to 2015. In 2016 the restaurant was awarded two stars. The hotel / restaurant is since 2010 as a monument historique under monument protection .
