Patrick Bourne (born March 18, 1967 ) is a diplomat from the Republic of Ireland .

Career

Bourne worked for the Irish Department of Justice as an Executive Officer from 1984 to 1990. Then he moved to the Foreign Ministry. From February to October 1990 as third secretary of the Anglo-Irish Division, then as third secretary of the Irish embassy in Baghdad ( Iraq ), from March 1991 as third secretary of the Middle East Division, from August 1991 third secretary in the Irish embassy in Tehran ( Iran ) and from August 1994 third secretary in the Irish embassy in Copenhagen ( Denmark ). In September 1995, Bourne first secretary of the Political Division and the first in March 1997 Secretary deer Irish Embassy in was Canberra ( Australia ).

In 2001 Bourne received a Masters of Arts in International Relations from Dublin City University . In September he was seconded to the National Forum on Europe. In August 2002 Boune first secretary of the Development Cooperation Division, first in August 2004, Secretary of the Irish Embassy in New Delhi ( India ) in July 2009, the first secretary at the Development Cooperation Division, and in July 2013 Irish Consul General in Scotland's Edinburgh . After all, he was consul of the Consular Division from November 2015 to July 2018.

On June 4, 2018, Bourne was named Ireland's new Ambassador to Singapore . Associated with this are the accreditations for Brunei , East Timor and the Philippines . On August 24, 2018, he presented his accreditation to Singapore's President Halimah Yacob and on February 28, 2019 to East Timor's President Francisco Guterres .
