Patrick Horgan
Patrick Horgan (born May 26, 1929 in Nottingham ; actually John Patrick Hogan ) is a British - American actor .
Life
Against the wishes of his parents, who had suggested that their son pursue a medical career, Horgan left his home country as a young man and moved to the United States to work as an actor. He made his debut in the 1955 television film Othello . In 1958 he married actress and model Irish McCalla and moved with her to Manhattan , the marriage lasted until 1963. Horgan appeared in numerous popular television programs from the 1960s to the 1980s and was also seen in the cinema, including Thomas Crown in 1968 unbelievable . One of his best-known roles is that of Dr. John Morrison , which he played in the soap opera The Doctors from 1970 to 1974 . He is also an author and speaker for audio books ( The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes , The Detection of Sherlock Holmes and others).
