Patrick M. Liedtke

Patrick M. Liedtke (* 1966 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German economist .

Vita

Patrick Liedtke is the son of the manager Kurt W. Liedtke and finished his school days in Madrid in 1985 . He studied electrical engineering and economics at the Technical University of Darmstadt and at the London School of Economics . Then he worked in the field of European capital markets and economic research at SG Warburg & Co., a bank founded in London in 1934 , which was merged with the Swiss Bank Corporation (SBV) in 1995 .

Subsequently, he was entrusted with economic research as head of a project for the Club of Rome in Bilbao . From 1996 to 1998 he was director of the independent macroeconomic research in the executive committee in Frankfurt am Main, which specializes in the labor, pension and insurance industries. In 1996 he also started working for the International Association for the Study of Insurance Economics (The Geneva Association) in Geneva . From 1998 to 2000 he worked there as Deputy and Vice Secretary General. From January 2001 to July 2012 he was Secretary General and Managing Director.

Liedtke is married and has four children.
