Patrick Maitland Wilson, 2nd Baron Wilson (born September 14, 1915 - February 1, 2009 ) was a British peer .

life and career

He was the son of Field Marshal Henry Maitland Wilson, 1st Baron Wilson and his wife Hester Mary Wykeham.

He was educated at Eton College . During World War II , he served as a lieutenant-colonel in an infantry unit.

On January 12, 1945, he married Storeen Violet Campbell.

When his father died on December 31, 1964, he inherited his title of Baron Wilson , along with the associated seat in the House of Lords . In Hansard no parliamentary speeches are recorded by him. He lost his seat in the House of Lords with the reform in 1999 .

He died on February 1, 2009 at the age of 93. Since he left no descendants, his title of nobility expired.
