Sir Patrick O'Brien, 2nd Baronet (* 1823 - April 23, 1895 in Brighton ) was an Irish politician.

O'Brien was elected to the House of Commons for King's County in 1852 and served as a Liberal until 1885. The Hansard records 698 parliamentary speeches by him.

Patrick O'Brien was the eldest son of Sir Timothy O'Brien , 1st Baronet. When his father died in 1862, he inherited the title of Baronet , of Merrion Square in the City of Dublin , and of Borris-in-Ossory in the Queen's County . Since he remained unmarried and childless, the baronet passed on his own death in 1895 to his nephew Timothy Carew O'Brien . O'Brien was buried in Kensal Green Cemetery .
