Patrick Rambaud
Patrick Rambaud (born April 21, 1946 in Paris ) is a French writer .
Rambaud first worked as a film critic , co-founded Actuel magazine , wrote screenplays and plays, and wrote a trilogy about the Napoleonic era. In 1997 he received the Prix Goncourt and the Grand Prix du Roman of the Académie française for his novel la Bataille (German: " The Battle " ) . In 2000 the second volume of the trilogy Il neigeait appeared and in 2003 l'Absent .
